In humble submission to the will of God, Sunset Memorial Chapelnse, Inc. sadly announces the passing of Mrs. Ada Davis, 100, Mrs. Davis transitioned into eternal rest and peace Sunday, December 7, 2014 at Goodwater Health Care in Goodwater, AL. Although we are saddened by her passing, we rejoice in knowing that she's in a land "where she'll never grow old." Farewell, Mrs. Davis, You were tired and needed your rest. You were called forth by God, and your soul was truly blessed. We will not weep and mourn because we don't see you on this side anymore. We know that you'll be waiting to meet us on the other shore.
A Service of Love and Celebration will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Shiloh Baptist Church in Sylacauga, Al. with the pastor Charles F. Lilly, officiating. Her earthly vessel will be laid to rest in the stillness of the Sylacauga Cemetery. Mrs. Davis will lie in repose one hour prior to the service. Public viewing will be held Friday, December 12, 2014 from 12 noon-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
