Annie Miles Alston

October 23, 1937 — March 14, 2017

Annie Miles Alston

Mrs. Annie Miles Williams Alston was born in Sylacauga, Alabama on October 23, 1937 to the late Mr. Frank Williams & Mrs. Alma M. Williams. Annie Miles or affectionately “Ann” was preceded in death by three brothers: Kelly Williams, Thomas Eugene Williams, Floyd Williams and one sister: Barbara W. Toney.

Annie Miles was an inpatient at Grandview Medical Center when she answered the Masters call to enter into His presence on Tuesday morning, March 14, 2017. Ann’s confessed and demonstrated faith in Jesus assured her of an eternal home and she peacefully transitioned into her resting place.

Annie Miles faith in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior was established when she was a very young child. She grew up serving the Lord by being his hands and feet in her family and in various communities throughout the United States and Germany. Ann sacrificed a lot in this natural life to ensure that  others in her family would be able to grow up and achieve a better destiny in life. She loved being a mother to her two daughters and it brought her great joy to see them grow up and be blessed with their own families. She shared a special bond with her nephews and nieces who always called her Aunt Tde. Ann always enjoyed talking about the Lord with anyone that would listen.

She was a faithful member of Heart to Heart Ministries in Anniston, AL, where she demonstrated her willingness to serve the Lord by serving others.

The memories made during Annie Miles life will be cherished by her two children: Yolanda Faye Alston of North Charleston, SC and Crystal M. Walthour of Ladson, SC; and three grand children: Keirra Walthour, Kyrell Walthour, and Isaiah Frazier; siblings: Willie J. Williams (Mary), Robert Williams (Gwendolyn), Darnell Williams (Glenda), Pollie Powell (Billy Ray), Anna Carlisle (Bobby), Debra McGhee (Samuel), and Nyline Coleman (Larry) all of Sylacauga, AL, Juril Logan of Helena, AL and Mary Bellamy (Richard) of Anniston, AL; sister-in-law: Margret Williams; devoted foster client: Michelle Barclay; a host of nephews, great nephews, nieces, great nieces, cousins, and friends.
