Gerry Louis Wallace

Gerry Louis Wallace was born to the Dorothy Carter and Minister Edward Wallace on January 29, 1976 in Sylacauga, Alabama.

He confessed at an early age and joined Apostle Doctrine Church of God in Childersburg, Alabama. Gerry received his education in the Talladega County School System and graduated from Childersburg High School class of 1994. Mr. Wallace started working at Hardees at 16 and continued until his death.  

Gerry transitioned to his eternal life on Monday, April 6, 2015 at University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital in Birmingham.    

He leaves to cherish his memories: one son: Gerry Kanijah Wallace of Oxford, AL; parents: Dorothy (George) Carter, Sylacauga, AL and Minister Edward (Mary Nell) Wallace of Childersburg, AL ; eight sisters: Tamekia (Vernon) Anderson, Birmingham, AL, LeKia Wallace, Alpine, AL, Karla Carter, Montgomery, AL, Valencia (Rodney) Mc Intyre, Sylacauga, AL, Mary Ann Leonard, Talladega, AL, Shirley (Forrest) Elliott, Atlanta, GA,    Altonia (Craig) Johnson, San Jose, CA, Yvette (Raymond) Marquett, Los Gatos, CA; seven brothers: Terrance (Zeola) Wallace, Antonio Garrett both of Talladega, AL, Ryan Wallace, Oceanspring, MS, Tracy Chatman, Calera, AL, Eric Dudley, Childersburg, AL, Michael Leonard, Sylacauga, AL, Gregory Carter, San Jose, CA, Bradford Carter,       San Jose, CA; grandparents: Lewis and Daisy Wilson, Sylacauga, AL; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
