Joe Lewis Lee

Joe Lewis Lee, born October 5, 1943, in Talladega County,  Alabama, to the parentage Mr. James Lee and Mrs. Lelia Dye Lee.

Deacon Lee joined the  Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Stanley Threatt. He served faithfully as the Chairman of the Deacon board, the Mass Choir and Male Chorus. He loved to sing, He was the owner of Lee Upholstery. He loves his family, pastor, church and Community. 

Deacon Lee was preceded in death by: his parents, three brothers, Willie James Lee, Martin Lee, Frank Lee; one sister, Lillie Mae Lee.

Deacon Lee transition to his eternal life on Monday, December 11,2017 at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham.

Deacon Lee left to cherish his memories: his loving wife: Florence Ruth Lee, Childersburg, Al; two sons: Kenneth Lee, Ricky (Olivia) Lee, both of Childersburg, Al; two daughters: Cynthia (Fredrick) Kirkland, Patricia (Kenneth) Jones, both of Childersburg, Al; 18 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, two sisters: Lessie Mae Brown, Mary Jane Garrett; both of Childersburg, Al; and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
