Mr. Frederick "Doug" Powell

In humble submission to the will of God, Sunset Memorial Chapel sadly announces the passing of Mr. Frederick Powell, 57, of Sylacauga, Alabama. Affectionately known as "Doug," he transitioned into eternal rest and peace on Friday, September 7, 2012 at Talladega Healthcare.
A Service of Love in memory of "Doug" will be Wednesday, September 12, 2012 at 12:00 Noon at Shiloh Baptist Church, with the pastor, Reverend Charles F. Lilly, officiating. Interment will follow at the Sylacauga Cemetery. Mr. Powell will lie in repose two hours prior to the services at the church. Public viewing will be Tuesday from 12:00 Noon-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
