Nora Mae Smith

Nora Smith, born November 14, 1938, in Talladega County, Alabama, to the parentage of James and Fannie Mae Gamble.

 

Nora received her education in the Coosa County School System and attended Coosa County Training School. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age and joined Union Baptist Church and later joined New Beginnings Outreach Ministries.

 

Nora was preceded in death by her: parents, four brothers: Doug Gamble, Alfonza Gamble, James Gamble, II., Frank Gamble; her sister, Rosa Jane Ford.

 

Nora leaves to cherish her memories: three sons David (Lisa) Smith, Stevie Joe Smith, Dennis James Smith, All of Sylacauga, AL; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Betty Joyce Darby, Sylacauga, AL; one brother, Charles Lee (Mae Katherine) Gamble, and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
