And suffering through sleepless nights,
Now that my labor has ended,
And having stood for my brethren rights;

In humble submission to the Will of God, the management and staff of Sunset Memorial Chapelun, Inc. sorrowfully announce the earthly departure of Mr. Peter E. McConico. Through his 72 years of life, suffered trials and tribulations. But now all of that is over, and the ever restless tossing has passed. Mr. McConico is now at perfect peace, safely home at last. He moved from his old life to a brand new life on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham.
The life he lived, the love he gave, and the legacy he left will be celebrated Thursday, November 6, 2014, at 1:00 P.M. from Evangel Temple Deliverance Center, Vincent, AL. Bishop Lodis McGregor, pastor; Pastor Shaemun Webster, eulogist, and Pastor Theoangelo Perkins, officiating. Mr. McConico will lie in state two hours prior the service. Public viewing will be held Wednesday from 12:00 Noon–7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Please keep the McConico family in prayer, as we reflect the gracious memories.
